Lubrication Engineers has long been associated with companies involved in the marine transportation industry. From the building and repairing of ships, boats, barges, etc to their operation plus the docks that load and unload them, there are many applications for L.E. lubricants.

This equipment must operate in harsh environmental conditions, especially moisture (often salt laden) and dirt. From freezing cold to burning hot, the lubricants stand up to whatever situations they encounter. Docks and loading facilities have a wide variety of equipment for loading and unloading all types and sizes of vessels. Ships can be more complicated, being small cities unto themselves. In addition to loading and unloading equipment, they must have a power and drive source as well as equipment to provide service to the crew and passengers (i.e. lights, electricity, sewage, water and food preparation).
