1601 - 1609 DUOLEC® Vari-Purpose Gear Lubricant

A high performance line of industrial & automotive gear oils from ISO VG 46 to 1000. These products are designed for use in any industrial gear or bearing application that requires a thermally stable, extreme pressure lubricant. They also meet the requirements for use in many hypoid gear applications employed in heavy-duty mobile equipment. In addition, these products are fortified with a shear stable tackifier to provide adhesion to the metal during use. They contain DUOLEC®, L.E.’s proprietary dual acting wear-reducing & extreme pressure additive. 1601-1609 DUOLEC® Vari-Purpose Gear Lubricant outperforms with: •STAY IN GRADE SHEAR STABLE VISCOSITY for better temperature / viscosity stability. •HIGHER TIMKEN OK LOAD for better extreme pressure performance. •HIGHER 4-BALL WELD POINT & LWI for better load carrying performance. •HIGHER FZG FAIL – 14th STAGE meaning much better wear protection. •EXCELLENT OXIDATION RESISTANCE for thermal stability at elevated temperatures. •GREATER DEMULSIBILITY IN LESS TIME for easier water separation. •API GL-5 PERFORMANCE LEVEL for the most severe conditions of automotive use. Typical Industrial gear oils do not formulate to meet this high level of performance.
